The Epiphone Pro-Series was created in 1989 alongside the I-Series. From 1989 to 1993, it consisted of only the Pro. In 1995, the Pro-1 and Pro-2 were introduced. The Pro-1 and Pro-2 were built in Korea by the Samick Corporation, whereas the Pro was built in Nashville, TN by Gibson Corp. The series was discontinued in 1998.

Pro-1

The Epiphone Pro-1 features:


- 1 OBL HB / 1 OBL HBB-1 with Coil-Tapping

- Black hardware

- Steinberger tremolo

- Alder body

- Bolt-on Maple neck

- 24-fret diagonally-cut Rosewood fingerboard with "M-III" inlays

- $749 MSRP (1996)

- Colors available: Metallic Black, Pearl White, Metallic Blue, and Metallic Red.


Pro-2

The Epiphone Pro-2 features:


- 2 slanted OBL humbuckers with Coil-Tapping

- Black hardware

- Steinberger tremolo

- Alder body

- Bolt-on Maple neck

- 24-fret diagonally-cut Rosewood fingerboard with "M-III" inlays
