Spartan
Introduced in 1934, the first production year Spartans featured a round sound hole, later changed to f-holes in 1936.
"The body is artistically finished and presents a beautiful appearance. The extension tailpiece and other metal fittings are nickel plated. The bridge is adjustable. As in all other Epiphone Masterbilt guitars, a patented expansion truss of steel braces the neck against warping or springing out of shape." "To you judgement as a discriminating musician we submit the spartan guitar" - Epiphone 1934 |
